putting thorns in my road..?
And I know
my dues will never be owed..
I took the path most trod upon,
and not the one less traveled..
It took me past the rising dawn,
which just never unraveled...
It took me down a narrow pass,
into a shrouded night..
It wanted to see my ruin,
To see my miserable plight…
Deceived I was, in every breath
lingering even in my demise,
and, therefore my fate is sealed,
that never shall I ever rise…
